This includes academically-underprepared, first-generation and low-SES students. Coaching is also a particularly powerful tool during life transitions such as those experienced by university students. Because millennial and generation z value personal development that meaningfully engages and enables them to find their own solutions, coaching has proven to be an effective success and retention tool in university settings.
